Saw this on the 2017 super duty facebook group and wondering if anyone here has seen or installed one of these. If so how do you like it?

Unless they have different bezels available they won’t fit all trucks. E-brake, hill descent, cameras, etc the one pictured won’t fit my truck and it is just a loaded xlt trim with 5 buttons across the top in 3 slots.

 

Interesting, but too big for me. I'm going to upgrade all the speakers and add a subwoofer in my XLT but for now the head unit will remain the same.

 

If it has the correct bezel and would control everything as advertised I may bite. I like the idea of the always updated google maps.

I think I’ll hold out for the windshield touch screen like the one in the BMW in “M. I. Ghost Protocol”

 

In the demo video, the response time appeared a little slow.

You're suppose to take a picture of your dash as OEM and send it to them, they then will tell you if it will work.

My concern would be warranty work at my dealer. I'm sure swapping back would not be an easy chore just to visit your dealer.

 

I would really like to have something like this, but I hate the fact of loosing my actual volume ****. buttons and ***** are so much easier while driving than the touch screen. I can only imagine how bright this sucker would be at night too.

 

Just another Chinese/Android radio that might last 3-6 months before it starts giving the user problems.

I did the exact same thing in my 13 ccsb just replaced my factory speakers with Alpines added a 5 channel Alpine amp and 2 Alpine 10s and kept the head unit and that truck banged, I'm just going to put the same hardware in my 17 cc xlt that I had in my 13 only difference will be the sub box but your stereo will sound great.

 

Looks like you loose your AC controls. Does that mean it'll only work on trucks with the upgraded AC with digital style controls?

Otherwise, I might go for it. Looks awesome if the quality is ok.
