Sorry to bump it just curious if I can just simply bolt in

Amazon Amazon

I imagine it will need a harness adapter just curious if you have to do the cutting the earlier version had to do.

I think the H-D lights/units will fit, you will need a harness adapter. The mounting points should be the same. Maybe someone will chime in who knows for sure.

The xl trucks already have an adapter on them to go to the hb4 or whatever number the xl headlight is from the normal headlight connector so if you trace it back from the head light you you have an h13 connector already. This is how the 04 and earlier models are can’t say for sure on the 05 and up but using the adapter is a lot cheaper than having a separate wiring harness for the xl trucks. I would also suggest avoiding the lights with the leds in them like you linked they don’t seeem to last very long and just go with the factory style Harley housings.

You may not need one at all you need to look at your wiring and see if it has an adapter harness on it already that hooks to the xl light if that’s how yours is you would just need to take the adapter off to use the h13 bulbs, if you don’t know what you looking at post a picture of the truck side connector and post it here.
