Don’t mean to be an *** but if you would kindly read the first statement of my post you would see that I said that the stuff I listed was just the stuff the new ram has over the old one. Yes ford has about half of that list already but half of it it doesn’t. Ford does not have: the screen, ford had 2in over the old ram as measured in person by me and the new ram has added 4in as stated by the press release so math means ram has 2in more now, 57% more soft touch, sun roof looks bigger to me but that’s debatable, cooled rear seats, and reclining rear seats And in my opinion, the exterior looks better than the f150, but again highly debatable. Also I forgot, the new sound system is 19 speakers and I hear it’s supposed to sound amazing.
Don’t feed the troll.

Didnt mean for this to be a ram vs ford debate on all levels, I was talking specifically about the infotainment systems.
Thanks for posting this. It seems aftermarket units are never as good as the factory, even when the factory units are all that great themselves.
My brother in law has a 2014 ram megacab and his truck was used to help develop that radio and software for ram 2500’s. They gave him one for free and it took only 2 weeks for him to get tired of all the glitches. His radio is now stock again.
His Bluetooth made him sound very far away when talking him on the phone, the call button on the steering wheel always redialed the last person you spoke with, the sound processing on radio was changed and made the alpine system sound like crap, the long loading and boot up upon starting the truck, the convenience of having buttons was taken away by the larger screen and you now had to scroll through a bunch of menus instead, and last but not least........draining his battery while parked. I had to jump him twice at work.

The Ford Sync 8" screen is actually the first OEM screen that I've ever wanted to keep. Android Auto pretty much negates my need for anything special on the OEM screen anyways.
My buddy has the RAM mini diesel, its not bad inside, but his head unit is always screwing up in weird ways....and wtf, 240 hp in a 1/2 ton? Pffft.

Are you referring to me as a troll? Quite the contrary and I think you may have misunderstood me. If you have seen me post before on this forum you could tell that I am a massive ford fan. I like ford MUCH more than ram or gm, I simply say ford needs to step their game up and match/beat ram's new advantages. Doesn't mean ill stop buying fords
