Hi 'fenders I was just looking through the latest Classic Trucks mag and saw an ad for National Parts Depot. They have valances listed for 53-54 and 55-56. Check the web site www.npdlink.com

Thanks Ozzie, I got the link. Catalog is large so I'll download it during non-peak hours. Some of my other leads are turning into 54 grill finds so this may be handy.

EDIT: Make that I'll call them. Catalog is 53 MB. I'll have birthdays before that downloads without ISP interruption

 

fenders, there are a couple of salvage yards in minnesota that might have what your looking for one is french lake auto in french lake or dw sales in emily email for dwsales@emily.net or phone at 218-763-2501 dont have french lake number but can get it for you if interested. havent been to either yard in awhile but they used to have lotsa effies. hope this helps julie

I just saw them at the Fall Canfield meet this weekend. They seem to have alot of new parts. I know they have valances, but I'm not sure about a steel '53. Give them a call...you might get lucky.
