Mine has been trying to download for three days now. Got impatient sitting in the driveway waiting for it to finish. Any confirmation if these updates can happen when the truck is "sleeping"?

Been messing with mine quite some time randomly check it , and it in the process of downloading. It's a large file so it does take a little while, and hooked up to WiFi and let it run and upgraded from. 2.0 to 2.3. radio kept timing off on me so had to go back and hit automatic system updates on than off.

I think they are the same files, just named differently? I'm going to remove the SYNCMYRIDE from all the files EXCEPT the one that is supposed to have it and try again.

My root folder only has the two files and the SyncMyRide folder. The Tar files are inside that folder.

That's what my USB drive looks like also. I don't know if Sync does anything to the drive after completing the install though. My install did complete.

Create a folder called SyncMyRide as a sibling to the SyncMyRide\.... files
put the files that start with SyncMyRide in that folder
remove the SyncMyRide\ prefix from the filename of those files

Like minds.....This is what I did last night. The update seems to have loaded because it rebooted BUT it still shows version 2.0 not 2.3.

Guess I'm going to have to do the master reset and try again.

I can't even get the download to work. I've tried 4 different browsers (Chrome, FireFox, Edge, and Internet Explorer) with AdBlockers on / off, etc. No matter what it just errors out on me and won't even let me download it. Unfortunately I park too far away for reliable WiFi and when I turn my phone into a hotspot and connect to it it just spins and searching for update forever.

Any ideas how to actually download the 2.3 update for a 2017 F-250 (Non-Nav)

probably at this point you might want to consider taking it in for the update. Perhaps if you have not had the truck long, maybe your saleperson can see if the dealer will do the update for free or give you a usb stick with it on there for you to borrow and upload it.

I can't even download the files to attempt a usb update. I get a "service unavailable" for the past 3 days. Finally dug into to and found this error coming back (grrr):

Error 404: Error occurred while getting document binary. I called them yesterday, spoke to a nice lady who promised me that it would be fixed overnight last night and to retry today. Who was she kidding? I've seen people talking about this error for months. I even brought this up to her and she claims it was a new error and broke on Sunday. *shrugs*, I'll keep checking, but yeah I see a similar error to what you are.
