Looking for information on a couple braces I removed from myb 1952 F1

I am reassembling my 1952 F1 pickup and have two braces that I can not find a place to put them. Can anyone help? I am attaching a couple pictures. These are not the 16272 fender braces that bolt to the radiator housing. Don't know where they go, Any ideas?

I've never seen anything like that on mine. Almost looks like a gas tank support for a midfifty or panel?

The rear fenders don't have supports like the fronts. They do have angled braces from the bed to the fender right behind the rear wheels.

Do they match up with that tank that's leaning off to the right in your last picture? - Bob

It looks like an underframe spare tire bracket, but from something else.

Have any "Jokester" buddies that might be playing a trick on you?

I had my 52 F1 completely apart and nothing like that. It does look like it might fit that gas tank in your last picture as pointed out on post #6.

I'm starting to think that's the tank out of his '52 - just a different view than I'm used to seeing! - Bob
