6R80 Swap - 3.5L Turbo - Early Bronco

New to forum, looking for some turbo+auto help.

I'm investigating swapping a 3.5L ecoboost and 6R80 into my 72 Bronco. Mechanically it will work as there is space and an adapter for the 6R80 to my Dana 20 transfer case. That adapter only works with the 4wd version of the 6R80.

Reading some swaps on other forums (svt, garagejounal), it is *possible* to transplant these, but they basically grafted a body onto a complete f150. Coyote is plug and play with the FRPP combo, but that is at least $13,000, and Coyotes + Broncos have been done. BC Broncos has used a 3.5L eco but with a 4R70.

With the engine harness, PCM, BCM (not 100% that I need the BCM if I can get a tune disabling PATS?), electronic pedal,
FPDM, I think I have all I need (+SCT tuner). Educate me - what am I missing? TIA.

I would think the biggest hurdle is the electronics whether an F150 frame is used or not. The guy on garage journal that put one in his F100 would probably be the one to talk to. He used the F150 IC to help uncomplicate things. I would assume he used the BCM and PCM as well.

PCM + BCM will enable this, but I need to track down what other modules/functions are required and will need to be supported by OEM sensors and components, and what can be disabled by tuners or FORScan. Next step is to research what year will be easiest but still have reasonable mileage on a take-out or salvage. I'd like to go with 2015/2016 but there seems to be major changes in 2015 from 2012-2014. Research continues...

Randy on garage journal is the guy that would probably be able to tell you what is needed. I think he is working on his second EB transplant.
