Is this brake line set up ok?

I am using the CPP firewall set up. I ran one 3/16 line from the prop valve to a tee fitting. Then 3/16 line from the fitting to each of the frt calipers. Should this set up be ok? Or should I run 2 separate lines from the prop valve to the frt calipers? IE: use the frt bottom port to the lh caliper and the upper port (which is now plugged) to the rh caliper?

I have seen it done both ways.

My proportioning valve is set-up feeding the rear brakes to keep them from prematurialy locking up on gravel roads etc. School me on why the front brakes need a proportioning valve.

It all looks good. You will be ok with just using one line and plugging the other one.

The prop valve is there to regulate the pressure to the rears and fronts. More pressure to the fronts and less to the rears.

Actually maybe this valve should be called a combination valve, Instead of a proportion valve.

Hi John, you‘re right about the prop valve. I think, rswhitmore was just startled because of the yet missing line to the rear on your pic

I called CPP and the guy I talked to said I should run the 2 separate lines to the frt calipers, but he wanted to check with someone else to make sure. Then he came back to the phone and said the way I have it is fine.

Any one else have this booster set up and only ran 1 line to the frt??

I have the CPP kit (underfloor) installed and I ran 2 separate lines to the calipers in the front. Why not use both connections when the prop valve provides them? But your setup with only one line will work nonetheless without any trouble!

John, As I said before and Rico also agrees that you will be fine plugging the top and using only one. I did mine this way also.
