2015 Ferrari with truck like mirrors
I'm watching a Mecum auction and saw a 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari in the auction block. I'm usually not interested in these foreign cars as I prefer the 50s, 60s, and 70s American iron. I'm sure the blind spots in these types of cars are numerous since the driver sits so low and the backends are high.
Well this Yellow 2015 Ferrari had side view mirrors that were not stream line or close to the body. They looked like what many of us have on our trucks! I guess even they value practically over style. Here is one I found on the net.
Sort of looks the same, huh?

All the ones I saw in images are painted the body color, except a gold colored car had black mirrors. He was not a Darksider!
If I could find them in Meadow Green!
They might be extendable with the push of a button.

You are right about that. The only modern Ferrari I've driven on the highway is a F430, and it was almost impossible to see anything behind you. Everything back there is a blindspot. Other thing about that - my Mercury pickup truck has a smoother ride.

Funny stuff on this thread - Meadow Green Ferrari with a receiver hitch now that would be a sight to see!
Those side mirror stalks might be practical but they'd just get whacked by fat people pushing shopping carts between the cars in Wal-Mart parking lot. It would probably happen all the time.

Maybe Ferrari should make an optional mirror arm brace like Ford made for the 53 to 57 and up mirror arms. This one shown below is for a 57 up to ??. They were painted cream, and the head was only 5" square. 53-56 were black and just under 6"square.
My outside mirrors do not vibrate at any speed (that I have attained...) but the inside mirror in my 54 starts to vibrate at 55mph. I don't know why. Screws are tight.

You've got a good eye to notice the similarities to our trucks but are you sure it's yellow? I looks pretty red to me.

Ah, let me explain. The Ferrari on the Mecum Auction was yellow. The one pictured is just a pic I got off the net to show the truck-like mirrors.
