so i got the mew powersteering hose, pump, pulley, and belts. now im putting everything on and well i cant get the hose to bolt to the gear box. the bends are incorrect. i looked at the part number and they didnt order the wrong part so im lost.

What year is the truck, what series, what engine?

There are TWO P/S hoses, pressure and return. Both thread onto the gearbox.

On the other end, the P/S return hose clamps to the pump, the P/S pressure hose attaches to the pump w/a qwik connect fitting.

How do you know if the hose is correct or not?
