I don't think the Marathon's are even avail anymore since the Endurance came out. Maybe leftovers, but I sure wouldn't buy those!

Managed to get all 4 tires installed between today and this past Saturday. They are much heavier than the TowMax tires that were on the trailer. The side walls seem to be more vertical as well instead of bowed out or balloon looking like the older tires.

Soon we will be taking the trailer 5 hours away and I should be able to see if there is a difference in towing. Although, the last time we had the trailer out was July, so it has been a while. Life gets in the way sometimes, but hopefully not for too much longer...

Thank you and I am glad they are on the trailer now too. I saw your recent post about the trouble that GY may be in.

Either way the GY Endurance are better than the 6 year old TowMax tires that were on there. Stay safe out there brother!

I've been thinking about these tires for a while. I upgraded my axles last summer from 6,000 to 7,000 lbs on my GN horse trailer. Moving to the GY Endurance would also boost the tire capacity on my trailer. It seems that even in the same size (235/85r16) they have a higher load capacity than the Michelins I've had on the trailer.

And if I can bump up to the 255/85r16 tires, I get a huge jump in load capacity. I just need to make sure that extra 1/2" taller and wider tire will fit .

Going with the GY Endurance woulkd keep me in a 80psi tire and probably give my horses a better ride than going to a "G" rated 110 psi tire.

So I'm watching all of your reports as to how the hold up this spring

Also watch for the clearance issue BETWEEN the tires installed.

I also replace my fiver tires two at a time. I use a Trailer Aid Plus or an Andersen Easy Jack, remove the first wheel, install the spare, then remove the 2nd wheel and take them to my tire folks for mount AND balance and high pressure valve stems.
Then I install them on the fiver and do the other side.

I installed the GY Endurance tires on my fifth wheel this week. I haven’t had a chance to put any miles on them but will be towing it to TN next month. I look forward to the trip with them. Based on weight and visual inspection alone, they seem to be a big step up over my “Trailer Kings”.

I agree with them being a step up from my China bombs too. A big step...

I will be towing our 5th wheel (with new GY Endurance) for the first time this season soon. I cannot honestly say I will notice a difference because the last time we had the trailer out was August, maybe September.

I will report back with what I think, regardless of if I can notice a difference or not.

I was honestly after peace of mind. Any improved towing characteristics would just be icing on the cake!

Towed 300 miles to beach destination yesterday. GY Endurance tracked much better than the tires I took off. The trailer seemed to handle bumps in the road better as well, but that my have just been my mind telling me they were better.

Very happy with them so far.

Probably have about 3k on my Endurance and just took the 5er out after sitting a couple of months. Before I left I checked the pressure and only lost about 1-2psi. Rides and tracks well on the highway. So far, so good.

Am looking for Goodyear Endurance in the San Antonio area right now, had a tire with a side wall bubble about the size of a softball yesterday, I'm running on my spare right now.

What brand had the bubble? Be sure you replace them all.
