Engine not Egqube?
Hi, I live in Australia, so they have Clevelands in their 78 F100's.
I have been looking at forums and from what I have read,
Clevelands and Windsors have the same engine mounts and what trans fits a Cleveland fits a windsor.
Can any body confirm Yes or No?
Engine not Egqube?
Thanks,

And even though they're not a straight bolt-on, even the cylinder heads would interchange if things were easier and the planets aligned just right. The cylinder spacing is the same, as are most of the head bolts.
It's not usually worth going the other way however, so not many are scrambling to put Windsor heads on a Cleveland block. But even Ford did it the other way 'round with the Boss 302 and one or two others.
Now if I could just find one of those old Fontana/Madden aluminum "Clevor" blocks...
Sorry, I know that's not what you were asking. But it was fun to remember some of that stuff anyway.
