You ford techs may be stumped! IPR?

Agh! I should have thought of the bubble test! Yes absolutely do the bubble test Wop. Yes a failed copper seal on the injector will allow cylinder pressure to overcome fuel pressure on the injector circuit and then all the fuel that comes in just immediately goes out the return. The fuel pressure gauge will still happily read pressure, it doesn't care if it's fuel or "air" pressure.
This problem is made worse by the factory dead-head design vs. a flow through regulated return design.

I pulled the filter out and filled the bowl up to the rim, and took the starter wire and put it to the battery, no bubbles. is there another way to do the bubble tests?

Grasping at straws here, but you replaced the upper fuel filter housing, correct?
Any chance you messed up the cooling fan harness a bit?
I doubt it's related but chaffing in that harness can cause some really odd things to happen. It's a long shot but just trying to think of anything else.

Odd things such as? I’m curious as to what it would cause. I’ve always wondered what it would do, because either my clutch is bad or there’s a bad wire somewhere because it doesn’t engage at all even when commanded. I’ll check it out

If i have to show use photobucket to upload a picture then ill post post a video of it from YouTube since its easier to do.
So question.. i had my OC replaced, now if the gasket had failed and plugged that screen would that cause any issues, would it still let me get 1500psi of oil like it is?
It was a few months back. Yes it was a dorman but the gasket wasn’t green.

You have a bad injector. I'm going through this with my Excursion right now. I confirmed it with my Snap On scanner today. Change the fuel filters and check the fuel pressure. If it's under 50 psi you need a blue spring kit. Check fuel pressure again, if it isn't a least 60 psi it's pump time. Then go after the injectors with a scanner. It's the only way to find it.

Some time back Dorman changed to another gasket than the one that was so failure prone (moved away from the green). IIRC the new gasket was purple. It had fewer failures, but still has some. Hopefully they upgraded it one more time from that. Anyway, I agree that the 1500 psi pretty much rules out low HPO pressure causing the no-start.
Not wanting you to worry about it, but I always wanted to know these things - just because knowing it MIGHT help shorten troubleshooting if something were to happen in the future. For all I know the later failures could have also been connected to overheating the oil, etc.
