Drawer under passenger seat

After exactly 3 years of owning my van , I found a drawer in the base under my passenger seat. Didn't even realize it was there. I installed some "new" seats from a Kia Sedona and that's how I stumbled on it. After a road trip down to South Florida, my back told me I needed to do something about the uncomfortable seats. No lumbar support and it felt like I was sitting on the toilet while driving. I raised the new seat a little and moved my partition back 5 inches so I can stretch out more. I'm not going to do a how to, because I had to slightly modify the Ford seat belt buckle pretensioner to get it to fit on the Kia seat.

That's great! I keep wanting to put the air ride seat I have in, but would rather find something like what you have.
What year is your van? I don't think mine has a drawer.

It's a 2000. There was a half price sale at the junkyard over the New Year, so I took advantage of it. There are some really good deals on new take out seats from other vans on eBay, but shipping kills the deal.

I'd love to find one of those drawers for my van!

Wow, these "new" seats are comfy. Mine is a window van that was a wheelchairshuttle. Maybe the only came in Club Wagons. I don't have much use for it, since I usually have a small file storage container between the seats. A mouse made good use of it, though. It was full of shredded insulation. The Kia seat had a neat feature attached to the base that would be cool to make work in my van, but it would be in the way more than it would be useful.
