Need LED Headlight Bulb Help

hey guys...im pulling my hair out right now.

I have a STX with the four halogen bulbs. I purchased 4 led bulb replacements with the CANBUS modules.

when installed i would get all 4 to light up but then the the bottom two would flicker and then go out in a min or two.

i contacted the seller and they sent me resistors which i installed with no change in results.

i have replaced the offending bulbs with the original halogens and have no issues with them. i have ran them in different sequences of two halogen and two led. with four resistors two resistors and no resistors. but no matter what i do when all 4 led bulbs are in the bottom two will cr*p out.

the seller is at this point being less than helpful and im pretty frustrated.

any ideas or insight would help. thanks.

I don't know what you spent, but get a refund. I've got about $74 tied up in a set of Beamtech LED from Amazon. Plugged 'em in and that was that. Nice white and bright lights. Pattern is very acceptable to me. No resistors, no modules, no rapid signal light flash. I think a couple of others on the forum have tried them also.
Granted, it's only been about a month so I can't speak about long term success just yet. But for the price and the result I'm very happy. The bulbs cost less than some Sylvania halogen "upgrades".

That's where I'm pretty much at... I'm getting some resistance on the return and refund thing as well...they keep asking me to trouble shoot stuff that's not relevant. They have already tried to blame the vehicle might be worn and have damaged wiring. which my response of "oh you mean the 2017 superduty" that shut them up.

But still...

I would recommend everyone steer clear of them.

You're saying that maybe they aren't "experts"?
Hopefully they'll play ball and you get your money back. You can always go to your credit card issuer, but if they're like mine you have to wait 15 days after you've contacted the merchant and tried to get them to make it right before they'll do a chargeback and refund your money. PITA!

exactly! They remind me of cellular service Tec support. "Please verify the bulb is plugged in"

Yea I'm giving them one last chance to problem solve with the new info I just emailed them before I go glass earth and demand refund.

If its any consolation, my truck refused the LED conversion too. I finally just put the factory halogens in and all is well.

I'm curious is so then why? Why would two identical trucks same year make and model have two very different results.

You will not find the answer, you may try another vendor but if you are anything like me, I was tired of playing musical bulbs and just sent them back. I was having fogging real bad in the housing too, in addition to a random flicker even with the added resistors.

if they don't solve it I will attempt a different brand and after that I'm with you...two attempts and ill resort back to halogen and be grumpy about the nasty yellow

I tried 2 different brands of led bulbs before doing the OEM headlamp retrofit and had problems with both. I think some for Forscan setting changes would probably help

ok. so heres where im at with mine...complete and utter failure.

one melted resistor and 4 led bulbs that wont work together.

I purchased mine through www . headlightexperts .com

They are complete crap. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!

Home were responsive to my emails up and till the point that it was evident that the issue was their bulbs. since that revelation it has been complete and total radio silence. I guess my loss..... to be honest i dont thing they would accept the bulbs anymore after the multiple install and removal and playing around with things they are pretty beat up.

im sending them a final email requesting the return/refund. which i will be 100% honest as to the physical condition of the bulbs.
