Car show prep

Detailed the engine in preparation for the car show sat. in Silver Springs , Fla. The last all FORD show sponsored by NPD Parts in Ocala .
Acquired a set of FORD (FoMoCo ) plugs wires for the "Firstride " . What a difference in cleanliness in the engine compartment . Am curious if the judges pickup on it or maybe it will need to be called to their attention . Also will have the 5 * extra cab hood rim on fri. Had some pieces that needed attention & polishing .What a beautiful difference . Acquired them from Ilya .

Will pickup the red vinyl inserts fri. @ & apply to the bat wings . noon .Pics fri. eve .

The original spark plug wires didn't have any rubber boots at the plugs, just the terminals that clipped onto the plugs. Give you a good shock while working on a running engine.

Hmmm, Dennis..... I don't know.... That FoMoCo is upside down. Some judges might not like that. LOL

Seriously, your engine looks great.

Good luck with the show! And we look forward to the pics.

Hey Denny, I'm getting ready for the first car show of the season here too.
That involves flipping five pages of the calendar on the wall to figure out when the first one is going to be!

It 62° in North Central PA right now with heavy rain. Feels like spring. Snow is melting and ice on the river will probably breakup. Then we are to get freezing rain by 2am at 32°.
