I'm out for May 4. Will be coming back from Warrior Creek on Fri.

 

Warrior Creek is nice but a little tight, we were there last year. This year we have a waterfront spot at Bandits Roost for the 4th of July.

 

We'll be on 22 this trip. Pull thru with room for trailer, boat, numerous vehicles.
Have you stayed at Fort Hamby ?

 

Not yet, I heard the spots are tight, with a 33-36' camper we have to be careful. We do like Arrowhead, the road in stinks but it is a great getaway.


The DW tows the boat with the Durango and I drive the Ex pulling the camper. Would you believe our trip to Kerr Scott was her first time towing? She did awesome. I think we were in the 50's at Warrior Creek.

 

Excurvelle, think you’ll make the cook out or camp out this year, Badin is just around the corner from Arrowhead.

 

I would like to but IIRC Badin doesn't have electric hookups, we are "Glampers"

We'll get you and Tony adjoining sites and the party is in between y'all. A party buffer if you will. Get one or two more sites and sprinkle tents around. It would be a good set up.

 

OK, I thought you were talking about Badin Lake Campground, not Arrowhead. Badin Lake Campground is a right turn at the dirt road past the horse camps and Arrowhead is a left turn. What weekend are we talking about again? If that weekend is open I need to see if our secret "favorite" spot is available.

May 12th (mothers day), 20th

 

"My" site is available on the 27th, cannot do Mothers Day weekend.
