I knew that, but when I was typing out my response we were getting ready to head out for dinner and I suppose I had tacos on my mind instead of what I should be writing. I have changed the original post and thanks for following up on my mistake.

 

Anyone have any last suggestions before I drop $550 for a new pedal assembly? Would be nice to know if I can replace it with the much vheaper fixed version.

 

Nah, bud...gem would dry out and all good. I did have a horn blaring/alarm while driving in rain one day. Man, did people lol at you funny, lol....get the window sealed up or you'll know what I'm talking about...

I wonder how similar or different the sensors are- if they can be transferred from one to the other?

 

I'm having almost the same problem but it happens while I'm driving I have to shut the truck off and restart it and it seems to be fine or it will fix itself right away but the truck acts like it's running on 4 cylinders I've changed almost every since earlier but haven't thought about the pedal but I do not have adjustable pedals I have the fixed one but I did put a new throttle positioning sensor in it and did not change the issue

 

 

I have the adjustable pedals and they were unplugged when I got my Excursion. I plugged them back in, no problems.

What about the TPS sensor? I was wondering if it is possible to remove the sensor from the new fixed assembly and use it to repair your adjustable pedals?
