Hello I bought a ford truck off someone buyer to buyer it has 336,000 miles had no trouble since I bought in past june, I let my cousin borrow it 2 times, and I drove it this Saturday and could not get it past 50 mph putting the whole gas peddle down, this truck has crazy power. husband said it was a low on transmission fluid and motor oil could that be the problem?

 

a 2004 does not have a 6.4l engine so you are in the wrong forum.

 

If you know what type of engine is in the truck, then we can steer you to the right forum. Do you know?

 

2004 would have the 6.0L. 6.0l was new in 2003 mid year.

 

Could also have the 5.4 or 6.8. That's why I asked.
