What did you do to your Superduty today? 2018 version.

F350 6.7 SCLB
Airbags, Loadlifter 5000 #89399 with Wireless Air #72000
Stableload #A7311S.
Ordered the stainless kit, surprised to see that only the wedges were stainless, rest of the hardware wasn't. I also rented the Drill Tool, glad I did, I believe it made the task easier. The website said I would receive 4 drill bits but I only received two. After two holes the first bit was toast, so I was careful with the second one, drilled enough until it dimpled on the other side and stopped. Finished the holes up with a bit that I had purchased for the project. Used cutting oil as recommended. Had to unbolt the exhaust and move out of the way to get the tool on the rear of the passenger side spring.
Looking forward to spring to try out with the truck camper.

Thanks to the knowledge and ingenuity of the members here I was enlightened to the hammerlocks to fix the poor design of the Ford factory hitch insofar as the holes for the safety chains are concerned. Also, kudos to the member who suggested putting them together on the bench first. They seem to go together a lot easier on the truck that way. Problem solved. One less thing to worry about while towing.
Hi
Wheres did you bought the hammerlocks
Thanks

Hey Mario, I got these from Southeast Rigging here in Jacksonville. They sell slings, chain, wire rope, blocks, etc. Pretty much any industrial supply house should have them. They work great for the large hooks.

Hard to say on the air bags, the weekend I installed them I had a couple other projects going on so I was back and forth on it. Torklift sent me the drill kit about a week before sending the stableloads, did the drilling and install on two different weekends. I took my time with drilling, probably took me about a hour, same with the stableloads, had to make a few adjustments with the amount of washers needed for the proper spacing. Had the truck on a lift which makes life a lot easier.
