Hey there Sergio,

The kit only provided four (small) spacers per side and it looks like I need one more 1/8" piece (per side) in order to get the caliper positioned right. They gave you six, huh?

I have already done the Booster & M/C and plumbing, and yep I put in a blue 2-lb up front and a red 10-lb Wilwood residual valve toward the rear. Also put a proportioning valve in the rear line as well.
I feel pretty good about how this truck is going to stop. The rear axle is a Dana 60 with all new brakes.

And thanks for the offer to contact you. Might need some moral support and counseling before it is time to bleed the system. That and a 55-gallon drum of brake fluid.

When finished I will have a telephone conversation with TSM about their promotional info, shipping costs about this kit and the supplied instructions. The joke paper inside is almost like it was written by their competition to frustrate customers and drive business away. We could do better blindfolded. I just might write up something for them if it helps just one of us F2/F3 owners. They are close to having a good kit but need a little bit more post-development work to make it better.
If you don't mind, can you confirm they sent you six small spacers per side?
Tom

You think you had a hell of a time. I also bought the first ever rear Disk Kit. That was fun .

Did you change your MC to the firewall ? If so what pedal did you use ?
would really love to see some pictures. .

Sergio, I'm about to head out on a trip to North Carolina but will take photos when I return next week.

I kept the stock brake pedal set-up and location. The huge challenge was fabricating a bracket from the crossmember to the booster kit bracket. The arrangement that came with the M/C Booster kit was totally inadequate. I probably would have been better off in the long run switching to a firewall hanging pedal.
I'll probably do a separate thread on the power brake set-up. Us F2/F3 owners are at a disadvantage when it comes to brake upgrade parts, got to be creative for sure. No plug and play available!

Ohh ok. I didn稚 think it was gonna be that easy.
I left my new MC in the same location. Made a a new backet to fit the Standard MC holes. Because of coarse ours has 3 holes in the Shape is a triangle and no one makes them .

But now I知 forced to remove it all. Take another shower in brake fluid just so I can install my
Resistant Valves because My MC is lower then the Calipers .

Sorry If I sound like a newb. But it痴 because i am. This is my first truck build / restoration project and I feel like I知 doing every job twice 🤣

but great experience and once I知 done. Who knows maybe I値l do another LOL

Nice video. Congratulations. Nothing says this is a real truck quite like the whine of spur gears.
