Can someone please double check the towing capacity on a truck I'm considering?
It's a 2011, F150 with 5.0, 3.55 axles, 145 WB. From what I pulled up, it's rated for 7,700 lbs. Is that right.
It depends on the cab (Regular, Super Cab, Super Crew) and drive (4x2 or 4x4) configuration. There are six possible answers, ranging from 7,500 to 9,800 lbs.

Sorry, it's a 4x4 SuperCrew. So I'll assume the lowest rating of 7,500 lbs or 7,700 lbs. What's confusing on the guides is the different GCWR. Some of them have a dash instead of a number. It's probably something silly I'm missing, but what gives?

The dash means that it's a combination that wasn't built. The truck you found should be rated for 7,700lbs, with a GCWR of 13,500lbs. I'm not sure what the curb weight of that truck is, but it has to be in the neighborhood of 6,000lbs, so with passengers, gear, tools, luggage, and so forth, you're going to be right on the edge of its towing envelope.
If you could find that truck with the 3.73 gears (axle codes 26 (open), B6 (LSD), or L6 (e-locker)), you should have a much better safety margin (9,300lbs towing, 15,100 GCWR).
