Ok so I rebuilt my C4 with a rebuild kit from local parts store. I messed up and didnt have any forward gears. Took it back apart to find a broken sealing ring on the front pump (hope that is the proper name?)
Where can I by this individual part?
I have search and search and only came up with TCI sells a kit but its like $35. I paid $60 for the rebuild kit with everything.

 

OK looks like I'm gonna order another rebuild kit minus clutches for $45 a little cheaper comes with gaskets gonna need those too.

 

Find a decent local transmission shop, they always have parts laying around. Once you start messing with it again be sure to air check engagement. You can at least rule out leaks before you put it back in the car.

 

Thanks great advice went to a local shop And after some digging around found a unopened set of sealing rings. Guy told me give him whatever I had $6 in my pocket. Good deal!
