Same truck, about the same mileage, but F350 - get about 11 mpg in my daily driving. Get about 16.5 on long highway trips at about 65 mph. My 2006 f350 5.4l plow truck gets about 3.6 mpg per the display. Carrying about 2,200 of weight betwwen the plow and ballast and junk.I find that resetting the mpg display while coasting 60 mph down a hill is very uplifting.....

I have a 2014 and stock tires and 3.73 gears srw I was averaging 11.5 sometimes 12, I weighed my pickup with my flatbed and gear it was 8500. I just recently put on 33's and am getting around 10.5 to 11 but I'm also just not caring and running the throttle how I want

Probably a fair assumption, most flatbed manufacturers will list what the bed weighs by its self, of course you can always find a scale and know for sure how much it weighs.

The best advise is to not pay attention to the mpg's just drive it like you want and fuel it up when it needs it, that's what I do and it is so much more enjoyable to me. I can squeak out an extra mpg out of a tank of fuel if I try, but I don't want to drive like there is an egg between my foot and the pedal for an extra mpg. With gas being around $2.30 where I live 1 extra mpg equates to about $6.00 in savings per tank (34 gallon tank) which averages out to less than $5 a week for me. Not worth the effort.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can take you GVWR weight class and subtract your payload rating to get your curb weight (at least before adding your flatbed). My F250 is 10k lb class 2 less 3137 lb payload = 6863 lbs. Might give you a little more accurate number. Just saying because mine's a little heavier than what Ford shows as a base or 6695 lbs for my long bed 4x4 crew.

This surprises me. The base curb weight on a 2016 crew 4x4 sb is 6828 lbs, 133 lbs more than the 2018 long bed (I'm assuming the 2017 is the same).
