So did anyone see the snow on Burbon street on the weather channel ,ice and snow in Memphis with roads closed across Tennessee. Has anyone heard from RC hope he took a coat .

After fighting with the cold and my truck and doctor's appointments this week. I think today is the day I get Jeff's car inside to finish up the welding on it.

 

Afternoon folks, I tried RC's phone # twice, no answer, no voice mail set up either.

John. Yeah, a little shade from the blazing sun. I'm gonna see if I can hook up and air conditioner in there to keep me cool, while I'm at it. ...but seriously. It sure is nice to not have to deal with wind and cold. I was working in a T-shirt today. This car was a mess when I started. 90% of the car from the rear window to the rear bumper has been replaced. I can say with almost certainty, that the car gained about 250 pounds since it got here.

We ran out of propane last night, so I've been busy keeping the wood stove going. Hopefully, we'll have propane tomorrow at some point. I like that "lazy man's heat" that you don't have to keep stoking every few hours.

I hope to have Jeff's car done this weekend, but we'll see. I've started on the interior floors, so the "to-do" list is getting smaller and the "done" list is getting bigger.

 

Morning , Alan whats a dog leg ? is that what you call the area in frount of the rear tire . My brown truck has nothing their rusted ,missing, drafty and cold.

 

Morning Ford truck fans, I have been hard at it at work (the paying kinda work, not the Ford truck kinda work I want/should be doing) and getting over being so sick.

I'm hoping to get outside and get a few things done that have been avoided in due to our freezing weather.
I have two slabs of baby backs that I'm going to toss in the smoker either Saturday, or Sunday. And the cold water Crappie are going mad right now. And I'm looking for a lake nearby that isn't frozen over. Yes, I'm ready to go fishing.

John. Yes, the area on a four door car ahead of the rear tire. It's shaped like a dog's hind leg. I made every repair panel on this car except the truck floor pan and rear trunk brace. Everything else was made here from flat 18 gauge sheet metal.

Speaking of which. I had a heck of a day. I was only able to get the driver's side floors done. Every time I turned around, something happened that I had to go get something that ran out or broke. It was maddening.
