So are they worth it ? Anyone running them now. I’m running my truck with a tune

 

I have had one for years. I think it makes the truck run smoother.

 

I recently added one from Riffraff. My woman and pops both asked what I did to the truck as it sounded smoother at idle to them. Aside from a buttload of gaskets, the line is it.

As I gather, it balances high pressure oil on the banks by pulling some from the opposing bank, when the engine fires two injectors on the same bank in the firing order. Hope that makes sense.

I still have leaky *** uppipes, ergo cannot comment on any performance gains. BUT if a woman and a 70 year old man that went through a foreign war with bad hearing say something about it, it must work. Yes, I would do it again.

 

I sure noticed the difference in my 96’ and 2000 7.3’s. Really took the annoying idle vibration out and smoothed it out. About the best bang for the buck.

 

Hmmm ok so mainly just better idle conditions not so much better drivability? I know what the cross over dos and can see the benefits But was seeing what you would actually notice.

 

I just take the springs out from under the line fittings per Joey.

 

I was told by Joey (T500) and by Bob (adrenaline) that they aren't needed anymore because they balance the flow to the heads much better.

 

 

Removing the spring will also smooth out the idle. And it only cost 2.00

 

The only that smoothed out my idle on Ruby was new Rosewoods. I wouldn't waste the $60.

 

Hmm ok yeah If its just for a smoother and or more quiet idle then I won’t bother Hell the truck is straight piped lol
