Hi all
I have what i believe is a heat problem with my ignition system. After driving 10 to 20 minutes the truck starts to miss at any elevated rpm levels. I'm runnig a pertronixs with an Accell super coil plugs are gapped at .040. If i let the truck sit and cool down it will start right up. Any ideas were to start? thanks

too hot?
My first guess would be "coil".
My second guess would be "pertronix"
If you replace the pertronix take a close look at the Crane XRi Points conversion. I really like mine, and it was easy to install.
