P0306 & P0278

08 F350 6.4 Powerstroke, 174624 on the truck. 46523 on a new motor from Ford installed with DPF & EGR deletes, 4Ē straight pipe exhaust, MiniMaxx tuner, and ARP head studs.

Iíve always done regular maintenance on the dot, Motorcraft oil and filters every 5000, Motorcraft fuel filters every 15000.

Recently sheís started running a little rough off and on. Just a little chugging while at idle. She accelerates and will maintain highway speed and power fine, but at an idle I can sometimes sense a definite roughness. It doesnít always happen sometimes it happens right at start up, sometimes it happens after Iíve been running around all day. And sometimes itíll just go away. Well recently it started and this time the check engine light came on. I pulled over, shut her down, and ran the diagnostics on the MiniMaxx and she threw P0306 & P0278. Cylinder 6 injector misfire and a generic fuel related issue code. I started it back up to find a better place to do some research and both the rough idle and engine light are gone. Is this just crap built up in my injectors or filters? Or am I looking at a new injector? Iím confused because it comes and goes so randomly. Itís been cold here in WA (4-28 F) for a month or so now. I try to run Stanadyne or Power Services winter mix with most tanks.

Thanks in advance

Picton is starting off with a positive reputation.
Hopefully one of the more mechanically inclined will chime in here. However, since you run the cleaners which are supposed to help keep all of that system clean and free of crud......may be it is a true injector issue.

I hope not.
