We've had some off and on but most of it has been light rain and not enough to quench the fires burning in the area, we have 111 active fires, 28 which are not under control. Had a fire fighter from Alberta killed fighting one here last week..

 

I am more then happy to send you the heavy rains we have been seeing.

 

We're getting a steady rain here at the moment, I don't mind it during the week but would prefer the weekends be nice this time of our summer for some of the local events happening in our area...

 

I would like a week or two without rain.

 

There is a show and shine this weekend that I have attended the last couple years but don't want to miss the one the following weekend because it's a little smaller and the people seem to respect the cars more..

Morning D-ware.... the rain we had overnight was of the good variety. Light and a long soaking in not running off type. As I put down some grass seed the other day, it's just what I wanted. Sun's out this morning. Happy August.
