Never did one, But have stripped and prepped many cars. With way too many leftover parts hanging around.
There are a couple of guys near me that are really into demos.

I know one guy in NY that takes the body off to weld where permissible and notches the frame to collapse where he wants it to do.

 

There's just nothing better than smashing a car. I've never won one, but, oh man, did I ever have fun!!

 

i want to find me a nice wrecked SD w/8 ft bed.. front can be all smashed in.. i just want the back half..
