Is this the PCV Valve? 2004 E350 6.8 V10

I just purchased a 2004 E350 with a 6.8 V10. It came to me with this issue, and I am trying to figure what the best way is. This is on the driver side taken from inside the van with the cover off.

Is this the PCV valve? Did it just break off? What is the best way to fix it, does the valve cover have to come off?

I have a 2007 van with V10 and my PCV valve is on the passenger side engine valve cover.
I believe that one you broke is just a fitting that you’ll have to get at the Ford dealer. I believe you’ll find that it unscrews with about 1/8th turn. Likely very difficult since yours is broken.

I recently saw this exact exact item mentioned and pictured on this forum
I’ll see if I can find it.

Go buy a PCV Valve ($3-$4), and check the passenger side
