I'm in the process of picking up a 66 F100 parts truck and would like to use the suspension and drivetrain in my 1963 f100. My 63 is not a unibody. Would this work?

The only difference between a Uni and a non Uni is, the Uni's Styleside bed is welded to the cab and the doors have a straight thru scallop line.
The front suspension is exactly the same for all 1961/64 F100/250 2WD's.
Twin-I-Beam front suspension introduced in 1965 F100/250 2WD
IMO: What you would like to do will be very difficult.
You could always swap the '63 body onto the '66 frame.
I was thinking about mentioning that because it would be way easier. The problem is you lose your V.I.N. when you change frames. In some areas that is a big issue.
anybody have a pic of a 64 frame ? The cabs are quite a bit different, but you'd have to see the 2 side by side to decide how tough it would be. I'll be comparing a 2wd to my 4wd in a short time to decide which frame to use, the 4wd frame is pretty rusty but the 2wd is very nice.
