You won't need airbags with a F-350... That's the point. The main spring pack is a little different, but the primary difference between a F-250 and F-350 leaf pack always has been (and continues to be) the "overload" Leaf, which comes into play when the suspension is compressed. It doesn't get used in normal day to day driving. That's where the big load carrying capacity comes in.

Thanks guys this is great info. I found a red F350 to test drive tomorrow. Its strange but i'm starting to think here in NC there must be tax reasons or something causing people to go with F250's because SRW F350's are extremely rare here. My plan is to order in the next couple of months but wanted to make sure I know which options to order before proceeding. I keep my trucks for roughly 10 years so considering the cost and length of ownership its imperative that I get it right out of the gate. Everyones input is a key part of the process and I sincerely appreciate the help.

Thank you

Here in Utah, It's very rare to find a 4x2 truck. Everything is 4x4 and most Superduty trucks on lots are F350s.

At big city dealers I do find more Shortbed trucks and rural dealers seem to lean more to Longbeds.

The F350 will haul just fine with out air bags. The only reason I added the bags was because I leveled the front end and one I hooked up the trailer, my headlights were to high and I got flashed. If I hadn't leveled the truck, No problem.

I'm starting to get the new truck bug bad. Have held that feeling off for about 10 years now but man its building now and the new truck desire is burning hotter every day.

There’s zero reason to get an F250 over an F350 in South Carolina but people do it all the time. I think it’s mostly ignorance.

LED's are expensive based on the other packages you MUST buy to get the LED.
Example is that the LED is about $1k, BLISS is another $1K, then Lariat Ultimate is $4300.
In the end, if you didn't want BLISS or Ultimate (moon roof is way to big IMO), then the LED's end up costing you over $6K give or take.

Highly considering the HR lights when the truck gets here but I'll see how I like the stock lights on the long trips through the flat desert at night first and go from there.

It’s interesting to me to hear the different opinions on F250 or F350 including reasons for choosing SRW vs DRW. I think I get the gas or diesel choices. Around here there are more 250’s than 350. My adult sons think they look cool. I choose the F350 Dually for max capability and my need...only downside to me is no auto car wash....lol. Everyone has different wants and needs. I’ve have driven both, ride is really identical or good considering the capabilities. Tires make the biggest difference as someone pointed out.

Reason I’m interested in the LED lights is not the whiter light but am hoping to see better overall. My 08 lights are horrible and no where as good as some others vehicles I’ve owned. So just as far as having better vision which ones are best? Again I could care less about the color. Thanks

Thats whats I got a F450. Same price just depends on trim level. So much more capability here. Insurance was on 60 more per yr here compared to my 250. Same registration. Bigger brakes better turning 10 lug great ride! Cant believe how nice it rides. Can pull 34,500lbs no squat or airbags.
