I’m still missing the point Tim..
If the driver of the EB did not use the turbos (spooled them up), he basically would throw the start of the drag race. Are we so sure that the driver of the V8 truck did not load up the converter for his starts also?
It’s a drag race and you play the hand you’re dealt..

Pretty sure I saw tire smoke on the first run, and I think that one run was in 2WD. The EB probably lost that run because of too much tire spin.

All the subsequent runs were in 4WD, and there was very little tire spin (AKA all the power was getting to the road).

Except that it hasn't, unless you live at higher altitudes. I've seen them line up at the drag strip many times (at around 700 feet of altitude). Even with the 6-speeds, they were very close in the 1/4 mile. And I've seen the 5L win plenty of times. Line them up in Denver, and the results will be different. N/A loses about 3% of it's power for every 1,000 feet of altitude. If you are basing your opinion on Youtube videos (rather than real life experience), most of those don't even give a location, so you have no idea what altitude it was.

Well then there you have it. The races were pretty useless IMHO anyway. My only concern is reliability and so far I'm impressed.
