1981 Ford F150 Ranger. 4.9l , carbureted motor with a C-6 transmission. The last year for the full size Ranger. Truck was to be a restoration project but old age (75) , heart attack and no garage stops me. Many new parts installed,New Pa. Inspection, 4 new tires, new pads and rotors,new radiator,flex plate ,water pump,fuel pump, vacuum brake booster, master cyl, variable wipers installed,

New parts not yet installed but included, NOS, Ford 4.9l cast headers Waker Y pipe from the 1987 and later fuel injected motors, crankshaft balancer, reworked Dist. chrome valve cover, rear brake shoes,new gas tank and gauge assy. good used seat, no rips, good, straight used rear bumper, original tonneau cover in good condition. I might have forgotten some things that will be included as I go through my shed.
This truck is still being driven, Cab is very good, bed is rusted. I was going to repair the bed but heart attack stopped all working on the truck. One side , I was working on and couldn't finish is coated with Flex Seal to keep it from further rust.
I have pictures but haven't figured out how to post them. Will do so ASAP. when I figure it out.

Truck is a good buy and a good start for anybody wanting a restoration project or a good driving truck for those not interested in restoration.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge. Some questions;

1 - 4.9 normally aspirated (carb) or fuel injected?

2 - Short wheelbase, short bed (looks like it but I wanted to be sure)?

3 - Which automatic transmission (C6)?

4 - Differential gearing (3.55, 3.73)?

5 - Tow hitch (doesn't look like it)?

6 - Where in PA?

7 - The bottom edge of the doors look like they might have rust. Yes?

8 - Pictures of the engine compartment and under side of the cab?

The truck is in Harrisburg ,PA. It's a short Wheel base, carburetor with a C-6 trans. Not sure about the rear, think it's a 2-73 or 3-23. Bottom of doors just getting some surface rust, paint is crappy there I sprayed over the bottoms of the doors. Those are all of the pictures I have. The engine comp. is stock with a smog pump etc. The smog stuff was never messed with, still there and hooked up. The truck did have A.C. but previous owner removed the Compressor etc.
