Electrical Manual - Schematics, troubleshooting

HI,
Whats the best manual for schematics and electrical test procedures.. I guess the Ford Service manuals are pretty good obviously, keep in mind I wont be using Ford test equipment so... I bought this CD on Ebay and although informative the electrical diagrams are not working on my PC.

Chilton or Haynes ?? I know Ive had some Haynes in the past that worked rather well on GMC's etc...

I have lots of electrical issues to troubleshoot.

Skip the Chiltons or Haynes, get the real Ford documentation.

I finally got this CD to run that I bought on Ebay. It's genuine Ford item and it is impressive. You click on the connector and it shows the pinouts, then click on location and it shows you it's physical location in the vehicle.. it was 12.99, just a bit of a pian to run on a newer PC, have to install the correct version of Abobe SVG viewer.

TElls you what pins to pinout and the desired result, all the colors are clearly notated. I am saying it's recommended right now.

Much more economical that the paper version.

The Ford Service manual I got had a problem with a folder which is misnamed, I think it was "DATABASE" which should be "DATABASES" or something like that, not entirely sure. When it's renamed to the correct name, then it works fine.
