My dealer did it for me at no charge. My regens have gone as far as 20%, but most times stops between 30-40%.
2015 F250.

Interesting side note, my regens take a helluva lot longer now that my PCM was reflashed to fix the "jackhammering" issue.

You can get the dealer to do it or you can use FORScan to turn it on. FORScan will require an OBDII adapter and a laptop to make the changes listed in this spread sheet. The changes are made in the IPC (instrument panel).

FORScan 2016 Super Duty - Google Sheets

Or you can take these photos to the dealer and ask them to hook up their VCMII - IDS and make the change.

I was on the highway yesterday and a regen started. Even though I had the DPF Full % screen open, I didn't notice it started because I was on call. I caught it at 10% and saw it go down to 0% and stay at 0% for a good while.

I use the Better Diesel FBC product.

Passive regen for 800 miles? I would like to know how you do that. Is your truck deleted? Or, is there a problem with your truck?

Normal for me. Not only does the soot percent always go to zero I can run about 2K miles towing before I will see a regen..

There is a backstop of about 500 miles but I am here to tell you mine wont hit that mandatory stop while towing.

Essentially I can go from Maryland to Colorado without a regen.

From a MPG perspective, that's awesome! But, I have to wonder what's going on. It seems very abnormal.

Watching the regen % and then watching engine temps and oil temps.

Running anywhere from 210-230 temps is hot enough to passively regen.

Mine is a 2013. Has been this way since new.

My understanding is most won't go zero % and most still regen. I think the programming in the later models has something to do with it.

BTW I am pulling close to 16K give or take for the 5th wheel. She was a pig coming here this time. Little over 8 mpgs. But running 75 most of the way too.

My DPF % seems to rise a lot slower when towing so that jibes with your experience.
