I live in Austin and we got some snow Thursday night. I know you dont believe me (SNOW IN TEXAS) but check the news its the truth i was just surprised as you are.. So i took my truck to work Friday Morning and i had 3 Check Engine code pop up. P0703 and P0488 P1000. I looked them up and one has something to do with the EGR Valve One is On board Diagnostics and other is Cruise control/ brake switch or master cylinder sensor. By Sunday evening it warmed up and snow left us quicker than it came. and now none of the Codes come up.. Any one have any suggestions?? Also if anyone has an easy way for replacing the power steering please let me know it took me for ever with no room trying to squeeze it out through fan blades and put the pully no it.. Also any suggestions to the brake switch if i leave it plugged in it keeps my tail lights on..

Here is a brief history of my truck
Bought it with 99,000 miles on it had it a year and decided to get drunk and do donuts with steering wheel hard to left... Blew Power steering and or Hydro boost and caused a leak in Radiator. Replaced all of them but power steering went out again and the Hydro boost would fit the brake censor properly. In the process of getting those repaired again when i have the time... It is lifted 6 inches and has a AES cold air intake. I bought it like this. Just wondering if anyone can help me with the codes..
