Help with aftermarket headlight conections..

I've tried "search" and all the results come up for HID, and LED. Nothing for what these are.

The lights I got are for regular bulbs, but have a row of LED DRLs between the sections. The assemblies are SPEC-D brand. They look like nice quality for the money- $108. The link to what I have is below.

www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-99-04-F250-F350-Superduty-00-04-Excursion-Clear-LED-1PC-Style-Headlights/362137323438?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid =p2057872.m2749.l2649

They come with a loose pigtail and there are 2 wires with a flat plug (that looks like the 198 style bulb plug) that comes out of the housing .

The only instructions I can find are on the SPEC-D website, and of course... they suck. There's nothing I can find for these specific assemblies. So the question is how to get the LED running lights to work, and does the little flat plug go into the side marker?

depends on how you want them to work. You can use a relay and an ignition hot wire to make the leds come on any time the trick is running, or you could hook them to your markers. The pigtail looks like an adapter to connect to the factory harness for the new headlight bulbs.

I spliced my led feature lights into the bulb that goes in the bottom of the fixture... that way if you turn on the tail lights and the front lower bulbs the leds come on. If you turn on the head lights they will come on too..

The little flat plug on the red/black lead that comes out the back plugs into the socket of what was the side marker on the old lights, so I got one working ok, but not with DRLs.

Did your housing fit properly?

It doesn't seem that the housing is fitting right. With both of the upper studs/adjusters in, and the lower inner screw snugged in, it leaves the lower outer screw mount on the housing sticking out about 5/16" from where it should be.... something just doesn't seem right. This should be easy...
It got dark on me but I will work on it some more in the morning.
