truck starts and immediately dies
My 2002 f250 v10 gasser has been having an intermittent problem. It has left me stranded multiple times and i can't figure it out. After driving if i turn the truck off it will start and immediately sputter down and die and will not start after. Then after a while it will start when it feels like it. it will crank but not start. please help!

i had a mobile mechanic come check it out (obviously not a very good one), he told be to change out the ignition switch and lock cylinder. Obviously that didn't fix the problem. and then i couldn't reproduce the problem until today. Im an expert in fighting fire, kinda lack in mechanics but i love learning and enjoy doing the works my self. just need some guidance

You may have a valve for your fuel rail...if so you can purchase a Gage, very cheep...just screw it on start the truck and just watch the pressure.....
also you can leave it on forever.....this may be at least one place to start.....
this is will measure your fuel pressure to the injectors....f t drops below specs....this will indicate a fuel pump issue....of if it’s not up to specs it will indicate a clogged fuel filter. Or a bad pump.....

Harbor Freight has an adequate fuel pressure gauge, #62623, for $20 (less with coupon) and there should be a test port on the passenger side fuel rail to hook it to.

Very sound advice. I had a 2004 V10 that had the same symptoms. Fuel pumps, and your symptoms are well known by mechanics that see a lot of Fords. This happened twice in the life of the truck, once under basic warranty, and again at 65k miles. Each time a Motorcraft pump was installed, and both times the part number had been changed to reflect an upgraded pump to deal with this problem.
