2010 Expedition - Rear Heating Issue

hi everyone! First time poster here but this site has helped me more times than I can count!
I just had my rear actuator were placed in my 2010 expedition yesterday. But I am noticing this morning that it doesn't seem very hot in the rear. It is my understanding that when the heat is on it only comes from the floor vents, but what about the events in the third row console (where actuator was replaced) the vent to the rear (closest to liftgate) seems to be an intake and then the larger vent (closet to second row seats) seems to blowing, but the air is cold. Surely this isn't right but honestly I've never paid much attention to it before. I guess I'm just looking for some basic info about how this works before calling the mechanic back.
Thanks!

Was the actuator installed while the blend door was all the way over to the hot side?

That I'm not sure on. The replacement was done by my regular mechanic.
