Well its mid 60 in Sacramento today, was cold last night...but sun has warmed it up nicely. I'm sitting out having my second cup of coffee and a cigar trying to decompress and unwind. Not sure what I'm going to do today but I feel like being "gone fishing". Would need my fishing pole and such first though.

Hope everybody is doing well

I love the internet (And Amazon.com, and Walmart.com). Just finished all my Christmas shopping, and never left my house.

Best way to shop. Hate dealing with holiday crowds, to many jerks and self centered types out.

Tru dat. I shop online for everything I can. Tired of the Christmas rush at the local stores.

Back at ya Jim!

Slow going this morning with another 29* morning

Not sure if the diesel or my joints complain worse on mornings like this.

Back at ya. Had breakfast Friday morning with some friends. When I left our house (at 2400' elevation) it was 65 degrees (short sleeve weather). When I got down to Cupertino, it was 36 degrees. Hooo! Need a jacket!

Yes indeed. Went to the local Walmart grocery market, which is only a half mile west of here. And it was brisk but not bad on the way there. but coming back, oh boy, was it cold. I did not bring the normal thick jacket I usually ware, and I was freezing by the time I got back.

Where was your degus bottle leaking from? I've noticed mine has a little cracking going on but no signs of leak there, though my coolant level did drop slightly so...

I had three leaks , the Degus on the bottom right over the Ficm , when under pressure it would spray on the top of the Ficm , the hose that wraps around the Ficm and connects to the heater core , right where the lower right hand Ficm **** or under screw mount rubbed a hole in the hose, at the other end of the same hose after the metal to rubber crimp it was wet and starting to leak,The Degus Y when trying to lay the bottle out of my way snapped , so had to replace that Y hose to the water pump, I found something else FYI from the Dealer , If your a Contractor or Ag make sure to Tell them , I received a nice discount on all the Parts, although I had to go to two different dealers to get them , I still got the discount. You’ll see a big puddle or notice the Ficm wet if the Degus is leaking , also check the heat control arm on the passenger side engine bay where the small grey hose plugs into.
