Thoughts on Alabama getting in the playoff, despite not even playing for the conference crown?
I didn't get as far as I'd liked to have this weekend. USPS kind of hosed me on delivering some stuff I needed. Oh well, we'll get it sorted.

Sounds good Bill. Wife ordered something and it is being delivered by the USPS too. When tracking it, it was suppose to be delivered Friday and had not shown up by Saturday night. She checked and I think that it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

Well, if Wisconsin would have taken care of business Saturday night, Alabama would still be sitting on the outside. I just hope they get their clock cleaned in the first round.
I'm pretty sure the fans are more than willing to give Scott plenty of time, we all know what a mess it is. If he goes .500 next year, that will be a miracle alone!

Neil I don't know what it is about the transition from FedEx to USPS, but stuff always gets delayed when I have to deal with that. Supposed to have gotten that package on Saturday, but now it's to arrive today. We'll see what happens. I have 4 or 5 packages showing up all at the same time via USPS today...lol.
Pat - that is true. I get annoyed thinking about how so many pundits and talking heads have kept saying "gotta have the conference title game, gotta have that '13th data point'" then they have blown the same thing off twice now in considering teams for the playoff.

Yup. I want that game to mean something too. I wonder how much of a drop-off OU will have though after Mayfield is gone. He's been such a dynamic trigger man for that offense, and while Kyle Murray (his backup) has looked good when he's been in there I just don't see him as the same kind of leader. Time will tell.

Morning Bud!
