Level or not ?

Big rigs have air ride. Low loads, less pressure, more load more pressure. Self leveling, adjustable in less than a minute, which is a bit overkill for us.
My biggest disappointment with the '17's is that they look lifted, even clear huge tires, but there isn't even enough room between the bumpstop and axle for my fist. An easy fix.

I like to think of it as mooning the folks behind me.

I'm one who thinks the rake looks extremely stupid. But, it's necessary. Wish Ford would add in rear airbags. Even Ram has it, and it is glorious. The truck comes from the factory nice and level. Add in 3000 lbs, and it's still level, take it out, still level. Seriously though, that's like the only option Ram has that the Ford doesn't.

My answer is yes and yes. I installed small level blocks that if I remember right were 1 1/2". Raised the front enough that it's not all jacked in the rear, still has rake when not loaded and isn't squatting in the back when any of my trailers are hooked up! Makes the Toyo Open Country A/T's also look good in my opinion.
