Superduty hood deflector

So my superduty hood deflector just got delivered and I'm a little confused, the letters are RAISED not recessed like I thought. Anyone have this hood deflector VHC3Z-16C900-C?

I was thinking of getting one. Is it possible you could post a picture of yours. Would like to see what it looks like.

Looks like they come both ways based on this thread (starting at about page 4 of the thread) https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...installed.html But is the "raised" just stick-on lettering?

When I bought mine the one that mounts to the truck using screws has the recessed letters and the one that mounts with double sided tape has the protruding letters.

Well I can't seem to attach a pic from my phone right now and yes it is the one that sticks on as the one with screws and mounting brackets has been discontinued. I think there was issues with the brackets rusting. I guess I'll deal with the raised lettering but was hoping for the recessed like the hood.

Another option is the AVS Aeroskin 2...Flat Black Matte finish but no Super Duty lettering. It matches what little Black I have on the front of the truck!!

I just put the bugshield on and made a 600 mile round trip pulling the camper. Not too many bugs on the road this time of year so I can't really tell. Nice thing is that it doesn't flap around and cause any turbulence at the base of the windshield and it's quiet. May be more of a rock protection then anything!
