Thats what I thought. What about after killing the engine and you open the door? Will it light then go out? Just curious.

Yes but not full bright, only half bright. The ONLY time they are full bright is when the BCM turns them on. I will get the video up tomorrow

10-4. I would likely get the OE clips like you suggested for sliding into the bcm plug. You’ve got me wanting to pull the trigger on this now. Thanks again man.

Could I reuse the 16 cavity plug from the Retro harness or would it be advised to just get new ones?

Don’t see why not unless you plan on selling the retro harness

I assume the plug we use is the one with the gray connector right? These are the plugs I have on passenger side kick panel. Its a tight work space for sure. Use a wire or fish tape to push wire behind center console? Did you remove any of the plastics?
The middle one is the one you use?

Yes that’s the one but as a confirmation it will have only 40 pins. There is only one there that has 40 pins.

I only took the panel that hangs below the glovebox down and yes I used a wire pull to go through the center console and again at the firewall.

Sounds good. Easy enough. Ok last question. Would you run just the 2 wires or 4? You mentioned earlier in the post bulb outtage wires. Forgive me for asking but what pins would those go in? Also no more forscsn codes needed for that?

I guess I would run all four, I mean why not?

Pin #6 would be left headlight outage
Pin #17 would be right headlight outage

Line 726-27-01 (from the chart I posted in post #1) looks like it has to do with front outage detection so I'm guessing you would NOT change this values from stock since your running the outage wire.

The question is what will happen when you change line 726-27-02 (needs to be changed for taillights)? I believe you still need AMB off but does this still turn off outage detection?

You know what? I changed my mind. I would NOT run outage detection wires because what I have done works perfectly, why mess with it and make more questions for myself?
