Power fold extend mirrors on 05 X

First I've read all the tech folders and all the threads on power fold / extend mirrors but most are on 00-04 X's. So,,,,

Has anyone done the power fold / extend swap on an 05?
If so:
Did you use the factory extend switch or an aftermarket? If so which aftermarket?
Where did you mount the factory extend switch (if you used it)?
If you switched over to the 08 control switch do the mirrors function correctly or are they still inverse operation (left right)?

Can anyone share what wiring needs to be done to energize the power fold / power extend options? Is the 05 the same as the excellent 04 write up?

I have 08 manual extend fold mirrors on my gasser so I've done the HW swap but I'm a little confused on the additional wiring needed for an 05.

Thanks

I'm using the 08 mirror control switch, and the in and out functions are reversed.

Can't offer anything on power fold. You might try one of the truck forums (7.3/6.0) if no one here has done it.

My brother wired it up for me and said it was straight forward and the mirrors are from 1A Auto.

I've read that and even printed the PDF but it's for an 02. My understanding is there is a difference between the 02 and 05 so I was looking for people who had done it on an 05.

Im unsure if you are using OEM stuff or planning on aftermarket.

I just took this pic for you, in my '05.

They're 1AA Auto. I've bought 2 other sets as well. One of the other sets was power folding for our old '04EX. I believe it was the same part number.

If you search my threads, I probably made a post on the install.
