What would I need to convert this into the multi-color aftermarket standard?

 

Google is your best friend. Just cut them off and splice the wires. I did mine when I put a din2 receiver in.

 

Buy an adapter. There are a lot to choose from so search on your favorite retailer web site. I found a couple likely candidates on amazon.



Cutting up and splicing your harness should be considered only as a last resort.
