I am doing a Duraspark conversion on my 1985 f150 351w 4sp 4x4.
My brother has a 1979 f250 351m 4sp 4x4.

The distributor, ignition module, sparkplugs wires and wiring harness and coil should they properly work with my Truck?

I also got a edelbrock 4barrell intake and the 1405 carb with manual choke. My old setup is the feedback carb and electronice advance.

 

The distributor won't work, the 351M and 400 used the same distributor as a 460. I believe the firing order is different too, so make sure you take that into account. Otherwise the DS-II wiring should all work fine with your truck.

 

Ok thank You. I had already ordered a remanufactured distributor, ignition module and wires, and planned to use his coil and wiring harness for now until i find my own harness and order the coil.

All my parts are being bought from RockAuto under a 1981 F150 351W.
