1960 Ranchero -- LKQ Sun Valley CA
I went to the pick n' pull today -- Sun Valley CA and saw that they have a 1960 Ranchero. It appears that it has a 6 cylinder (I left the oil bath air cleaner in the engine bay of the vehicle to the right if someone's looking for it). Not a lot to pick but still may be worthwhile for those in need of some parts, especially if you are nearby. I think it had a good dash panel (not cut up). Take a look if you have some time this weekend, especially since they are running 40% off.
I pulled a battery tray and horn since I did see anyone reproducing the parts, at least not the tray. Anyone have any information if the tray fit any other vehicles.

"1960" has a 1961 grille. First digit of the VIN is the year.
1960/65 Falcon/Comet: Two different battery trays. Tray for 45 amp battery (R-22F) is different than with 55 amp battery (R-24F).
At one time, Aadlan Brothers had the largest pick-a-part yard on Branford Street in SV, but they sold out several years ago.
I don't know if another wrecker moved in or not. Ecology Auto Wrecking has several pick-a-part yards in LA .. The largest is in Santa Fe Springs.

I miss Aadlan Brothers. No other yard took over. Do you by any chance have a part number for the battery trays for 1960 or 61 Ranchero/Falcon? I have not been able to find anything on the net that resembles the tray and I believe the one on the Ranchero was original to the vehicle.
C2DZ-10732-A (replaced C0DB-10732-F) .. Battery Tray / Obsolete
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1963/65 Falcon/Comet:
C3AZ-10732-C .. Battery Tray-Use with 45/55 amp batteries with A/C / Obsolete
-----
C3DZ-10732-G .. Battery Tray-Use with 45/55 amp batteries without A/C / Obsolete
